Sydney Yuri is a licensed esthetician, entrepreneur, and advocate for equity in the beauty industry. With experience at renowned companies such as L’Oréal, Unilever, E.L.F. Cosmetics, Yohlanda Holmes Dermatology, they bring a wealth of expertise to her business.

During a gap year from college, Sydney pursued their esthetician license, attending cosmetology school, where they encountered firsthand the systemic barriers women face in the beauty trade. Many aspiring licensed beauty proffessionals came from disadvantaged backgrounds, lacked access to professional networks, and had little-to-no work experience. A significant number were also mothers, balancing childcare with their career ambitions. Witnessing these challenges fueled Sydney’s mission to build a more inclusive and equitable beauty industry.

After completing esthetics school, Sydney recognized the difficulty of navigating post-graduate career transitions. Without clear guidance, mentorship, or access to high-level opportunities, many skilled professionals found themselves struggling to establish careers or launch businesses in an increasingly saturated market. Determined to bridge this gap, Atelier by Feio was born, providing education, mentorship, and career development resources to help beauty specialist thrive.
Sydney believes that beauty is more than an industry it’s a pathway to empowerment, financial independence, and self-expression. With a passion for innovation, inclusivity, and entrepreneurship, she continue to advocate for aspiring beauty professionals, ensuring that every woman has the opportunity to succeed.
